My N3290 is running at 497 Mhz, has XP installed and runs reasonably well with 256MB. Only problem I've had is broken hinges which HP can't supply. No big surprise there with HP's lousy support.
Forgot to say, If you get the laptop working with 98 or 2000 it would probably be worth 50 to 150 usd.Forgot to say, If you get the laptop working with 98 or 2000 it would probably be worth 50 to 150 usd.

It's a fairly old system, that came installed with Windows 98. Considering it's 2008....yes I would say it's an old computer. That doesn't mean it won't work. It will be hard to find adapters to work with that system since Microsoft discontinued Windows 98 a few years ago, and all the support for that OS. You may want to make sure there is enough hard drive space, as well as RAM...and if you do have enough oomph, then format and install Windows XP Home or Pro.

Hi vollybill....
Your M7570N date is: 08-Jun-2006, that is when the machine was introduced.
It is a "Media Center" desktop, so it is a better desktop of its day. It also has a larger hard drive.
I will include a webpage so you can check out the specs on the computer..as far as price, it is anybodys guess to how much a five year old computer is worth...
Please take time to rate me
You don't say what OS you are using but for Windows 10
Right click on the internet logo in the notification area
Select "Open network and internet settings"
Select "Wi-Fi" from list on the left
Ensure Wi-Fi is switched on and also check available networks.
On desktops, that's usually software controlled, not via a button. nce you have the right software installed for the usb adapter for your operating system, there should be an icon in the system tray where you can activate the wireless feature. I stress for your operating system because I had to get a new adapter once because i couldn't find vista or windows 7 drivers for my old adapter which I used with windows xp.
Just fixed mine again! you need to solder 2 wires to the computer connection then chop of end of cable so that you can solder together. Make sure you get them round the right way!
Disconnect the power supply, remove the battery, then locate and remove the BIOS battery for a minute or so. That should Flash/Reset the BIOS to no password.
