We have a t234C condenser tumble dryer. The water tray on the top doesn't fill up whatsoever when the tumble dryer is drying and the red warning light for empty out container illuminates after a couple of minutes. The drainage pipe is not kinked nor is it blocked. However when I tilted the dryer either backwards or on its side, water runs out from the base.

Candy heat pump tumble dryer not collecting water and taking forever to dry!

Condenser dryers are simple in operation. They use a heater element to force hot air to heat the clothes and turn the water to steam. That steam is turned back into water by drawing cold air into the machine and over the heat exchanger unit and into the drum. The problems with them is that they are slow to dry.

Your best bet is to call for service, and the problem is likely the sensor probe or one of the thermal cut out.

My hotpoint aquarouis ctd00 tumble dryer is heating but no air is blowing through. also there is no water collecting in the water tray

Check all filters and air vents at front and rear of m/c, to make sure they are all clear., do not overload, make sure you have selected right heat setting, and the correct drying time.
It is not usual to feel air blowing out of dryer, because it is a condenser dryer.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Creda tumble dryer

It is probably the electric heater coil. How old is the machine? If a couple of years or more, the coil is probably burnt out. It is accessible through the back. Good luck!
