Cannot download

when trying to download music files i get this message : Windows Media Player encountered a problem while synchronizing the file to the device. For additional assistance, click Web Help.
Should i reset my device???...plz help

Make sure you are trying to sync .MP3 or .WMA files.

If this is the case check out the error code number on the Microsoft website.
