My battery in my car died and now i need the code to reset my cd player and i dont have the original manual

I suspect your cd play needs you to enter a security code. You should look through the documents that came with your car for a hand written 4 digit code on the owners manual perhaps.

i thing if you dont have the code to reset your radio youll have to take it to the dealer so they reset it for you. or call the dealer see what they tell you first.

This means someone tried to enter the code into the radio 3 times wrong. You have to turn the key into the number one position and leave it ther for 2 hour. You need to make sure the radio is on with the off displayed on the radio. Make sure the lights are off so the battery does not die. I know this **** because i had to do this with my V70 when i bought it. After the two hours the radio will reset and you can enter you code into the radio. If you dont have the code you can get it from a volvo dealer. Just dont let them charge you. It is a free service.

yes, the code should be among the documentation you received when buying the car. Check the owners manual front pages and the jacket holding the manual for a flyer/instruction for the radio. Otherwise contact your dealer ,as they may have a record of codes by VIN of the vehicle.

Some of these new systems are very finicky, to reset you need to disconnect the negative battery cable wait a few minutes then reconnect, new electronics are sensitive to the difference.
It's possible the low voltage caused by the dying battery actually damaged your CD player, digital electronics are great but they have some serious weaknesses too.
Find out what brand and model your CD player is then go online and do a search for a service manual for your player, you may find an easy fix that way.

Normally the Audio (Radio CODE) is noted in the owner's manual. If you don't have it, you must contact Hyundai Motor America and give them the Vehicle VIN number... they may then (possibly) be able to give you the CODE.

Call toyota or whatever model car and ask for code to unlock stereo

you need your glove compartment manual that came with truck.you have to reset or recalibrate the radio +cd player before it will play.if you dont have factory manual that came in dash.take it to dealership.

You can pull the radio and get the codes or call the dealer and get them up to you. You will need your vin # in the window and you will have ti have your name on the registration number before they will give it to you.
