Question about Cell Phones

My LG phone can't complete any calls or recieve any calls. there are no bars, it constantly says "service required." but i'm at home and I always get service here

    No bars... and I cannot dial out from my phone. Just started today... yes, I have paid my phone bill.

    Same with me. There's no bars...it just says "No Service" and I cannot dial or receive calls. Just started today... and also, yes I have paid my phone bill too.

Regarding your PUK code please contact your service provider. The PIN code supplied with the SIM card protects the card against unauthorised use. The PIN2 code supplied with some SIM cards is required to access certain services. If you enter PIN or PIN2 code incorrectly three times in succession, you are asked for the PUK or PUK2 code. If you do not have them, contact your service provider. The module PIN is required to access the information in the security module of your SIM card. The signing PIN may be required for the digital signature. The barring password is required when using the call barring service. To set= how your phone uses the access codes and security settings, select Menu> Settings> Security.

My TRACFONE Lg 800G keeps saying emergency call only when I have full service


This problem shouldn't really have anything to do with the signal your getting. the emergency calls only mode is intended for prepaid phones without minutes or contract phones that are deactivated.
That being said, there have been a lot of problems with the 800g sending certain types of data over networks, since your prepaid phone is constantly sending data regaurding your prepaid time, it may just be that the data isn't being sent or recieved properly thus either your phone or the network thinks you are out of time. try taking out your sim card see if you can tell if it is an ATT sim or a T mobile sim, if it's ATT its a pretty good possibility that that is your problem. Either way if your getting the emergency calls only screen and you've got plenty of minuts on your phone I would contact tracfone and tell them what's going on.
and a little FYI: they may try blaming it on your cell number, if you've had the same number for a long time and havent had any problems, dont let them bully you into getting a new number, chances are it wouldn't help anyway

My lg xenon will not send or recieve calls even though att says there is nothing wrong with my service and it shows i have 3g service and 5 bars.


mine does that too ALL THE FREAKIN TIME...and I only realize when it's quiet or I can't call out. Then I have to shut it off and turn it back on and i'll get a bunch of texts saying missed calls or texts I should have gotten hours earlier. I HATE THAT I AM LOCKED INTO A CONTRACT with these phones that DO NOT WORK!!!!

Some companies require you first setting up this server whit costumer service, before you can acces in your phone, call to your custumer service number and ask for setting up your Multimedia messages!

it could be that your phone has been barred by the network, ring the network up to see if this is true

have a look your security setting under settings menu and go into the call barring section to click cancel all. try it and hope it can help!
