The
first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a
minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.
If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.
Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.INFO: On GE models, "
SENSOR ERROR" appears on the display when:
- Using
the sensor feature, the door was opened before steam could be detected.
Do not open the door until stream is sensed and time is shown counting
down on the display.
- Steam was not detected in the maximum amount of time. Use Time Cook to heat for more time.
If the reset didn't fix it:When you hit Start to cook, do the inside light and turntable come on?
Any unusual noises?
Is it louder or quieter than usual?
Do you have the model number?
These answers will help me judge whether it's in the high voltage
section (magnetron, transformer, or diode) or the control section
(door switch or control board relay or connection).
