Change to larger font on aol e-mail

AOL Mail is an email service provided to the customers of American Online as well as Web users.

When you print an email using AOL Mail software, you may notice that the font size either appears too small or too large.

AOL Mail gives you the flexibility to adjust the font size and thus, the size of the print.

Note that these instructions apply to AOL 9.0 or higher.

If you have an old edition, follow instructions from the link specified under Resources.

Launch your AOL Mail software from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Log in using your AOL screen name and password.

Click "Settings" on the top bar.

Click "Font and Text."

Click the font type drop-down menu to choose either a larger or smaller font type than the current one.

Click the font size drop-down menu to choose either a larger or smaller font size based on your preference.

Click "Save."

Hope this helps

Change font size in e mail

The printer prints whatever it's told to by the computer. Your printer really doesn't control the fonts.

When you are printing stuff from the internet (web pages, email, etc.) the reason for the small print is that it is related to the size of the monitor and it's viewing setup (the higher the screen resolution, the smaller the print will be when printing it out even though it looks good on the monitor).

One way you can make the print larger when printing internet stuff & emails is by changing the print view size on the screen to a larger size in your web browser (this is separate from your other setting you've already setup). Go to the menu bar at the top (i.e. Internet Explorer), click on "View," then "Text Size" then select a size like "Larger" or "Largest" (something higher than what you're currently set to.)

Another method is to go to your menu bar at the top of your web browser, click on "File" then "Print Preview". At the top of the window there should be a small window with "Shrink To Fit" in it. Click the arrow for a drop down list and choose something probably above 90% or more (maybe 100 or 125%) and see how it changes the print size of what is to be printed out.

The only other method is to copy & paste the text into a text editing software like Word and adjust the text size there. If you're using a text program, then you simply adjust the size of the text to a 12 or 14 point, or larger, font size (adjust depending on the font and size you need) and that should do the trick.

The size of print that comes out of the printer is extremely small even though computer shows regular size. what do i do?

If you're printing an office document, then print size is regulated by the font size chosen in said document.

If you're printing a web page, I take it you have the "print" icon on your toolbar.

Click on the arrow down for the menu, select "Page setup" - Click on font and set the size of font to 10, 12 or whatever you're comfortable with.

Prints in to small of font. How do I get a larger font

The larger fonts you are getting in your application, like Microsoft Word for example, the printer is not to blame for this. Just increase the font size from your application.

How to print my web articles in larger font?

You can try print preview. This should show how it will look on paper. Also make sure it's not trying to fit the document on one page. (shrink to fit)

Printing yahoo email

According to Yahoo's Answers page, another Yahoo email customer had the same problem, and resolved it by clicking on "View" on the browser toolbar, then "Text Size" and selected a larger size ("Increase" on the Firefox browser).
