You need to go into device manager, find device, goto device properties to check for any errors or update drivers.
AS FOR , testing, there is built in tester in SOUNDS and DEVICES in the Control Panel.
If they have completely stopped working, cleaning them most likely wont cure your problem. Replacing the keyboard is fairly simple. Look on ebay for a replacement keyboard, just make sure model numbers match or are compatible. Manufacturer should be able to tell you which ones are compatible. Good luck!

1st remove the Battery ..u will find screw below the battery ..unscrew it and then remove the blastic bar above the keyboard which contain the power ,wireless..etc Keys ..afterthat u can remove the key board and replace the new one...
