Question about Apple iPod Photo MP3 Player
HELLO...MY IPOD DISPLAYED A SAD ICON WITH EXCLAMATION POINT...
DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.. DID 5R'S ..SO FRUSTRATING..I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY SONGS AND PICTURES...
Do this, THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY!!!
SAW IT ON YOUTUBE!
THOUGH FIXYA CAN HELP U MORALLY, YOUTUBE HAS VARIOUS WAYS THROUGH MEDIA TO TEACH IT LIVE!, NOW HERE IT GOES,
JUST PREPARE A MINI RAMBO KNIFE, OPEN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE IPOD,
THATS JUST EASY AND BE NOT AFRAID TO TRY, OK?... I JUST FIGURED OUT THAT IPODS CAN BE SENSITIVE WHEN CONNECTED TO A MEDIA OR MACHINE BUT ONCE U OPENED IT, ITS JUST LIKE A SIMPLE DEVICE THAT NEEDS A HUMAN TOUCH SOMETIMES!... SO FROM THERE, WELL, HOW TO OPEN IT?... PLACE THE TIP OF THE SAID KNIFE NEXT TO THE IPOD'S CONNECTING COVER, THAT MIDDLE PORTION IS LIKE A PORTAL THAT ONCE U EXERT JUST A SIMPLE FORCE OF OPENING IT, THEN U BREAK THE CONNEXION!!
AND WHY DID I SAY ON THE RIGHT SIDE?.. ONCE OPENED, THERES A CONNECTING WIRE ON THE LEFT OF IT MAKING IT A ONE WAY DOOR, WHICH SHOULD BE OPENED FROM THE RIGHT, NOW, THIS TIME BE CAREFUL BUT NOT VERY CAREFUL, AS U CAN SEE IS A CUTE SMALL HARD DISK, FROM THE IPOD WITH A RUBBER PROTECTOR. ON TOP OF IT, THERES AN ELONGATED CONNECTION TO THE I-THINK-PLAYER-ITLSEF, SO GENTLY REMOVE IT, ONCE REMOVED AND U HAVE REMOVED THE DISK ITSELF, JUST SWAY IT A BIT AND ...TIMES UP!, CONNECT IT AGAIN, CLOSE THE HOUSING , U MAY HERE A TICK SOUND, MEANING ITS LOCKED AND READY TO USE!!!
99.9 PERCENT EFFECTIVE!
BY THE WAY, B4 I FORGET, MAKE SURE THE HOLD BUTTON IS ON WHEN CANNIBALIZING!!

There are many iPod error icons with exclamation marks
The Sad iPod icon ( ) usually means that the iPod can't access it's Hard Drive. I've seen that hitting the ipod on a soft surface occasionally fixes this. You may need to take the iPod for repair
The Folder Error icon () may mean the battery is low, the ipod needs to be reset, restored or needs a service
The Battery Icon () usually means the battery needs charging
means a disk scan failed and will be repeated when the ipod is turned on or reset.
Try restoring it continuouly until it does (eventually worked for mine)
if it is anything else, your iPod may need repair.
