How do i do statistical functions on this calculator?

Ok the previous suggestion is pretty good...except instead of using the enter key, which we don't have, we'll use the = key... for more details, theres a manual for the calci here : http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/edu/en/fx-82ES_83ES.etc_Eng.pdf

Get in stat mode

enter values

hit shift [1]

hit 4,5,6,or 7

hit the key associated by the number

hit enter after getting variable on screen

22 STAT functions in all

I have a fx-115es

don't blame me if this doesn't work.

I only have a pic of an fx-82es. I MAY get one.

Change the mode to stat and then start operating it in statistical mode

I am sorry there are no statistical probability distribution functions on the FX-82ES calculators. Try with the FX-991ES.

It is the factorial function, used to calculate permutations and combinations in statistics.

n! = n x (n-1) x (n-2) x (n-3)... x 1

Good luck.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The display is upside down probably because the calculator was subjected to a hacking procedure. Try to undo it or buy another calculator.

Press SHIFT MODE 7 then specify the number of digits you want after the decimal point.

For the reciprocal of a number, enter the number then press the key marked with an x^-1. You might have to use the SHIFT key first. For inverse of trigonometric functions use the SHIFT key followed by the function name. The inverse of LN is e^x. The inverse of log is 10^x. To calculate the inverse of a matrix, enter the name of the (already created) square matrix then press x^-1.

Hello,

Yes it does. All scientific calculators do logs, power, roots, exponential, trigonometric functions. Most do also hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions.

Hope it helps.
