(Please note that each serial number has a different code, if you require a code for a particular serial number then please post and someone on Answers may be able to assist you).
The anti-theft code cannot be bypassed. It wouldn't be much good if it was so easy to defeat.
The only way to get your radio working is to enter the correct security code. Enter the search term "Kenwood radio code" into your search engine to find suppliers who claim to be able to sell you a code, but they need the radio serial number in order to assist you. Be careful who you use though, some companies just take your money, provide a useless code and refuse a refund so try and research the supplier before sending any money. If the supplier is bad then there will be plenty of complaints online about them.
With the car, comes a plastic "infocard" with the radio and alarm codes. If you lost the card or didn't receive it with the purchase, you can ask for the code to the radio manufacturer, they'll ask you the serial number of the radio and the car and they'll send you the code.
Hi; I do not believe the need the s/n from the radio. If you can contact the dealer where you baught the car new, they will have the code in their sevice department records. Just tell them the VIN for the car and they should give it to you free. When you get it it is 5 digits in length. Press and hold the code button untill you here a beep. Release the 'code' ( the am/fm ) button and enter the code numbers using the preset buttons as the numbers (1-5or else 6).
take vehicle to dealership they need sterio and vehicle they will unlock your radio there they need to make sure its you
there is a program but its 600 dollars for it and you can find code but you have to order it
this code was created and entered into the radio by the owner of this radio, not by kenwood this is an antitheft feature that cannot be undone without that person's help. Kenwood will not be able to "decode" this unit unfortunately
what you need is a code generating program.
These usually ask you to put in a serial number, located on the top or rear of the unit.
you enter this into the number generating software, and gives you the code.
Try e-bay. they usually have this sort of thing.
do a search for car radio code unlocking ( or similar )
Some default at set numbers i.e 1234 0r 0000.
