Question about Elna 1010
Right in the middle of a project, (that was going just fine...) the needle will no longer catch the bobbin thread. I thought at first it had something to do with too many layers of material, but it still will not work on fewer layers. I can get the bobbin thread caught to bring the bobbin thread up for the start of sewing, but after that when I try either the foot pedal or the hand knob it can't catch, and makes the machine jam. I'd love to hear any suggestions you might have!
I have an old 'ELNA SP' from the 1970's and am encountering the problem of the bobbin thread not being caught by the needle. The needle goes up and down fine but the bobbin thread just stays the same. If anyone could please help that would be much appreciated, thankyou
