I CALLED XBOX SUPPORT AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE GAME AND NOT THE CONTROLER OR CONSOLE. HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

Do you have charged bat packs or fresh bats. Have you synced both the controller and the xbox together? Unplug the unit for a min. and check all connections if wired. plug in and try to sync again, Push the little buttons on the front of the controller and the on on the unit at the same time and see if the lights do the circle thing. That will usually work for me.
If the wireless controllers won't
connect under any circumstances even with the Charge-and-Play Cable then
you most likely have a problem with a board inside your 360, i think
it's like the RF board or something, mind you, the C-P cord only forces
through an electrical charge and does not force the controller and
console to connect, it just works when your batteries are low, in the
event that your console is faulty, you can purchase RF boards and
replace them yourself (voids the warranty but takes 20 minutes) or send
it into XBox HQ (gives you more warranty but takes like 6 months) .
this means that you need to press the connect button on the controller and the xbox, it means it has lost communication to the xbox, either the battery has run down or it is not charging correctly to stay connected.....hope this helped
check your batteries and if that doesent help try going on to setting and go to controller wireless setting or something related to that and look for hook up options and try messing around with the hook up options see where you get from there if nothing happens write back
