Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

No input during Voicemail

While listening to voicemail messages the phone won't allow any input. I can press the '7' key to try to delete a message, but there's no actual tone and the VM system just keeps on asking what I want to do. This just started happening out of nowhere.

Under 'Settings>Initial Setup>DTMF', if it is turned Off, change it to short or long and it might help.

How do i delete my masseges

Are you asking about voicemail messages or text messages? Most phones allow you to erase voicemail by pressing the number 7 during or after the message. If you have a touch screen phone and want to erase text messages, try touching and holding your finger on the message for a few seconds...a delete button may pop up. 25254526-ipxh3zptubm5u5d1ogqxpt0r-2-0.png

How do I record a mailbox greeting on Avaya 1408?

Hi Tourmaster,
I have these steps for you on how to do it. Hope it helps.

Mailbox Greeting While the voicemail system will play a generic greeting to caller, prompting them to leave a message, you can record your own greeting.
1. Press the key%20messages.zoom50.png MESSAGES button. Depending on how your system is configured, you may be required to enter your voicemail password and then press the Done soft key. The visual voice menu is displayed.
2.Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll to the option Greeting.
2.Press the Select soft key or OK.
3. Use the soft keys to listen to and record your mailbox greeting.
Listen
Listen to the current greeting or the new greeting just recorded.
Record
Record a new greeting. Note that the greeting must be at least 3 seconds long or the voicemail system will discard it.
More
Switch between the different sets of available soft key functions.
Submit
Submit the new recording as your mailbox greeting.
Delete
Delete your current mailbox greeting. The voicemail will use its default greeting.

How to delete voicemail

You apparently have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

How do I access my voicemail from another phone?

To call your Voice Mail from a landline phone:
1. Call your TracFone from a landline phone.
2. When your voicemail begins, press the star key on your landline phone immediately.
3. Enter the PIN you use to check your Voice Mail from your TracFone. When you have finished entering your PIN, press the pound key.
4. Listen to the instructions. They will tell you how many voicemail messages you have and give you options for checking them, deleting them, saving them or storing them as new messages. Phones may vary, so listen carefully to the options.

if you havent created a pass code try 9999, if that doesnt work give tracfone a call.

How do i get rid of the messages on my gigaset al14h telephone

I have the same phone and had the same problem. I had almost 50 voicemails meaning I had no room for anymore voicemails.

When listening to voicemail (done by pressing envelope button) press the left hand key under the display; the one with _ symbol on it and it will delete the message.

I couldn't find anyway to delete all the messages at once, I had to go through all 50 and press that button each time but now my voicemail is empty :)

Voicemail icon wont go away

Check your voicemail box and make sure you have listened to the messsage completely, if you hang up before you listened to the complete message it does not allow the phone to recognize that. After that reset the phone by powering it down and removing the battery and plugging it back in. That should do the trick.
