How to pair Motorolla 550

Hello,

Please allow me to help you with you Blue tooth head set.

Step 1

First power on the headset you do this by sliding the call button towards the microphone.
After a few moments, the indicator meaning the "light" will be steadily lit in blue to indicate the headset is good to go in pairing mode.

Step 2

1. On your phone press the menu button then locate connection or device "phones are diffrent" at this point you need to turn on the blue tooth on your phone.

2. The phone should find the Motorola H550

3. Select OK or YES to pair you headset with your phone.

4. Enter the pass key: 0000

5. Press ok

Hint: Once the phone is paired with the headset the indicator will flash blue.

Now if the unit does not pair then you might be using another unit with this phone so please make sure you disconnect all blue tooth units and try the steps again.

Old phone quit and blue tooth won't pair with new phone

Hold the volume buttons on the side while holding the call button for 10 seconds. It will reset the bluetooth and remove any other devices it may have been paired to. Then turn it off, back on and it will eventually stay lit blue and then you need to set it up through your phone. I hope this helps, I had the same problem and mine is working fine!

HOW TO INSTALL A MOTOROLA H550 BLUETOOTH HEADSET

Usually to pair a new device like that, there would be some trick to set it up. Im not familiar with your exact model, however ive had success with holding some buttons in.

Usually you would hold down the power button, or perhaps the volume up and down together, hold them down for a few secs and the light will go blue/red/blue/red to show its in pairing mode.

This will vary depending on the model of your phone. First off, you need to ensure that you are using a bluetooth enabled phone.

On your bluetooth headset, hold down the power button down until the power light stays lit. This may take 5 seconds or more. Now your bluetooth is in pairing mode.

You will need to enter the settings and tools menu. From within that menu, you need to find either "connections" or "bluetooth" and select. Make sure bluetooth is enabled. There will be an option to add a new device.

Back to the phone, you want to hit "add new device". On certain models of phone you additionally have to select "search for devices". Your phone will recognize any headsets in pairing mode. When it is finished scanning, allow the phone to add your headset. It will ask you for the device pin code. This pin code will be 0000.

Pairing with the LG will be similar, your bluetooth settings will be under settings and tools, and either under "bluetooth" or "connections".
