Usually there is a hole in close to the cd slot, where a pin can be inserted in order to push out a cd manually or a similar manual override.
Which CD player/ radio are you using?
turn on first the dvd player and wait to read a disc inside if no disc inside the tray it will say disc error. if the unit doesn't turn off, eject now the the cd tray. if get turn off, remove the cover then check for an stuck up gear or obstruction in the cd tray assembly. you can check also the power supply board which may have unusual parts like bulged or burnt component parts.
Either Cd is problematic or lens inside of cd player is covered with dust. There is no way of properly cleaning it unless you remove the cd player out and disassemble.
You may try cd cleaner kits but ususally they cant help.
DVD/CD players attract as much or more dust as the other electronics in our
home. Be sure to dust with a microfiber cloth or electrostatic duster
at least weekly, to keep your model running smoothly.
The insides of our DVD/CD player can get dirty and dusty too. A great tool
is a DVD/CD disc cleaner. This cleaner looks just like a disc with some
extra little brushes on its surface. Some DVD/CD cleaner kits even come
with supplies to clean and modify scratches on your discs.
If that does not work, then the cover must be removed to take out the disk. This must be done with power off. Even if operation is quite simple, there is chance to damage the unit.
This happened to me a while back and I got it out. You have to hold the eject button and use another disc and put it in a little bit and push the stuck disc around with the other disc you have. The stuck disc will then get pushed into the right position that your PS3 will recognize there is a disc inside and then you can push eject and the disc will come out.
On the most CD/DVD-players there's an hole which you can stick a thin metalwire (for example an straightened paperclip) to eject the disc. Look on the side/front of the player if you can find a little hole (app. 1-2mm).
actually it is due to faulty disk or dirty lens sometimes , when the lens is dirty it keeps on trying to read the data from cd or dvd and it just cant stop that infact stuck in it , or the other reason is faulty loading gear , in either case u have to physically dis assemble the player , remove the top cover some 4 or 6 screws are there in place open the top cover see the cd /or dvd and remove it physically do not force anything hard when removing the media and then if u can see the lens of ur player just clean it with a soft cloth with ur fingers in cicular motions very gently and u will see that it will play dvd /cd fine , the other thing if the loading gear is faulty or broken then u can ask me more on this
You mean the disc is stuck inside the player? if that is the case try first turning off the player then turn it bck on and see if you can take teh disc out.
If not you may need to open the player to take the disc out because this can be a mechanical problem or the disc is broken or something..
I realize this post is a little old , but for anyone looking for a solution try disconnecting your negative battery terminal for a minute or so then reconnect. Next try to eject your cd. Worked for me ^^ 2001 taurus
open the player wit the door ejected then clean all dust particles
inside it especially below the door and on the way where the door
closes ... and then also clean the rubber belt & near by which is
connected to dc motor... and clean the lens also... remember clean
only wit dry clothes...
it jumps to disc 2 may be there are dust particles which make struck... so clean it clearly and try...
