Printing out of alignment

My 2400 now prints the image about 2 inches too far from the top of the page. I have checked the setting, everything seems ok, but the printout was still not right. Can someone help? .

MG6120 printer starts printing 2 inches from top of page

I want to say it stems from whatever program you are using the print. My guess would be your margins are set two inches from the top. If that's what it is it is easily correctable. You just have to check your margins and access the number back to one you want to use. Otherwise it could be your nozzle alignment which you may want to run some maintenance and try to fix the nozzle alignment.

You only need to clean the encoder strip. The plastic strip behind the carriage assembly. Wipe it gently with a damp Q-tip and the double lines will go away.

Is the paper cassette set to the correct paper size and/or the printer driver printing to the correct paper size? Sometimes this can cause the image to be offset.
