Convergence failure Samsung rear projection television

usually on your model it might be best to replace the entire deflection board as your model has two STK394-250 ICs and then 12 3.9 ohm fusible resistors that will need to be checked and possibly replaced. If you need further assistance let me know I can assist with getting quality parts and circuit boards.

I have a Panasonic Projection Monitor PT-47WX52C.When I turn on power it blinks 3 times .What do I have to do to repair it? Thanks Kathy

You will need to replace both convergence ICs and also possibly the associated low ohm resistors, since the 3 blinks is indicating that the convergence has failed. The PT47WX52 convergence repair kit is available from which has the two ICs , heat sink paste, low ohm resistors and the CD with repair instructions.

2 resistors are burnt rz126 and rz125 but i dont know the value of these resistors samsung SPA43W6HPX

Both of those resistors are 3.9 ohm 2watt metal film resistors for the convergence ICs. The ICs will most likely need replacement as well.

Check the resistors near the ic, and the fuses to the ic's, i bet you will find an open fuse. the fuse will look similar to a resistor without color bands. use a dvm and set it on ohms, with the tv turned off.

Replaced convergence board but still out of convergence. what's next?

1- Did you try converging it by way of your menu?
2- Sometimes they have fuse-able resistors on the deflection board that go open when the IC's take a dive.
3- If this doesn't help then I will need your model number and make and you will need to get your DVM ready for trouble shooting.
4- I haven't had to replace a convergence board complete in 20 years, I don't know why your wanted to do that. Replace the IC's and possible resistors and your back in business.
5- Let me know!

Samsung HCP4752W Convergence Problem

Each convergence IC has a fusible link going to the IC. On the foil side of the board you will see the fuse size, usually 3.15a. Check both with an ohmmeter, like you would check a normal fuse. Replace the one that is open and that should take care of your problem. Good Luck.
