Question about Whirlpool GH5184XPQ Microwave Oven
My vent on the microwave oven blows INTO the house instead of pulling the AIR/STEAM/SMOKE OUT of the house? Is there a way to change the direction of the vent?
Or is it supposed to work that way?
There is a diverter in the vent area. You can pull it out and reverse it so that the exhaust blows up and not out into the room. The owners/installation manual will show you how.

The installation happened in June 07 but it has been doing it all along. it just dawned on me that it should NOT be doing it this way, but OUT.
I have the manual but cannot find anything about the vent direction.
