Yes you can fix it in 10 min.
You wasted your money on thermostat. Problem is your flame sensor. your Furnace has a safety. When it dosen't sense the flame because of crotion build on the sensor it shuts itself off in 3 seconds. flame sensor is on the right or left side infront of the burner. it is about 2.5 to 3 inches long and about the size of Q tip. it is mounted with one or two #6 hex or sloted head screw. You may or may not have to take it out depends on what is in the way and how big is your hand ! any way you will have to run to the hardware store and buy a sheet of very fine grid SAND PAPER. Clean it very good with it. If you have Glow igniter that ignite the furnace. DO NOT TOUCH THAT. It looks like round spiral or W shape. you can't miss it thats the one that starts the fire. DO NOT TOUCH THAT. but you can clean the sensor without messing with the Igniter. you can only Clean the sensor 3 to 5 time then you will have to buy a new one. you can click on this link to know what sensor looks like.

Please let me know if that works for you.
look at the igniter link you don't want to mess with this part.

Trouble shoot rth2308

on pages 26 and 27 of the manual it clearly states that the unit has a safety device installed in at the doesn't allow the heat and the air to be turned on one right behind the otherif you are testing out both air and heat expect about a 15 minute delay between both of them that is to protect your system just leave the unit alone you don't update by itself and it'll start working correctly in about an hour

The wifi connection from worcester boiler to room thermastat Honeywell Cm921 , boiler not receiving signal

Can't help you directly, but Honeywell will have user instructions on their website.
It's something like holding the 'stat within a metre of the boiler when the batteries are inserted. Best to RTFI.

Pilot lights up but would not fire up into heating, I have brivis buffalo 85

This is the proper cycle of a furnace and what should happen.

Inducer motor kicks on, it runs for a little bit, about 3-5 seconds, then you should see a bright yellow glow, this is the igniter, shortly after, you should hear a click and the gas should start to flow, almost immediately it turns to a blue flame. Then your igniter should turn off and the blower motor start up.

If the pilot turns on and the gas ignites, then shortly after the unit shuts off, chances are this is your blower motor. It is not starting up, then the heat limit is reached in your unit and the safety shuts it off.

Can not get cool air to blow #RTH2308

first check your filter, a dirty Air filter can cause you system too malfunction, after you have change the filter check with a thermometer in the return first record the temp and then find a supply vent and place thermometer in it and record the temp the difference should not be less than 13 degrees if so call a HVAC contractor you may have lost you refrigerant, or have a mechanical issue, i.e. compressor not working, condenser fan not working or dirty coils

All electric new home. Bought honeywell programable thermostat RTH2308. A/C works but heat will not turn on. This model # is not on their web site.

check to make sure there is a jumper wire on the subase between "rc" and "rh". these designations stand for red/cooling and red/heating.they are used independently if the system has a separate control transformer for heating and a separate one for cooling. they need to be jumpered when one transformer is used to control both modes. your fan "on" switch won't work the fan continuosly if there is no connection to the "r/c" trminal.
on the back of the thermostat there should be a switch you need to select for gas or electric heat. or there are small micro switches that need to be set for your particular application.check your installation papers for details.
these thermostats usually cover a wide range of applications and need to be selected.
