I have purchased new computer with windows 7/64 bit and would like to transfer my 2007 office pro to the new system i downloaded office trial and never wrote down the key
Re: i have purchased new computer with windows 7 64
The key should be in your email. Look for it pls. Use "search" option"
However, if it cannot be done, download & install "open office"...It's free & full version.

Is the disk-drive from the old computer attached as a "slave" disk-drive on the new computer?
If so, then the "upgrade" utility should find the "qualifying" files, and allow the "upgrade" to proceed.
Is Office 95 listed as a "qualifying" product for the Office 2007 upgrade?
If so, then insert the CD-ROM for Office 95 when running the Office 2007 installer.
Or, insert the CD-ROM for the Office 2000/XP/2003 upgrade when requested.
for Windows 2000 OS:: Install MS Office 2000
for Windows Xp OS:: Install Office XP , MS Office 2003
For Windows Vista:: Install MS Office 2007
For Windows 7 :: Install MS Office 2010
I'm really not sure what to suggest as the disc is not reading in multiple computers and other discs work fine on the computer you are trying to install it on it sounds like it is bad media. You may want to contact the location you purchased it from and see if you can exchange to software.
I think you have stumbled onto the problem Windows comes in two versions...32 bit and 64 bit. It sounds like you have a new laptop with 64 bit operating system, where as your old system was 32 bit. You can confirm it by going to Start >Control Panel >System and look for the line System Type under System section. It will tell you what type it is. Look at your Office package and it will most likely say 32 bit on it.
Here's a link to Microsoft which will explain the difference and answer many questions.
Hi there. Providing the disk you had with your old computer has the product key with it you should have no problems at all installing it, just make sure you uninstall the MS office 2007 first before you install MS office 97.
First you buy the product, the key comes with the purchase! If you have a bootleg copy of the software, there is nothing that can be done for you. You must not have the program installed on other computers. You must purchase an original Microsoft CD. No temporary product key is required for the trial period, unless that has changed in Office 2007. Did you purchase a new computer with Office 2007 installed already? If so all you need to do is pay Microsoft for the software product key, and install just the product key as normal. Re-installation of the software is not required.
hi, yes you can install office 2003 while you already have office 2007. you just need to change the installation directory when you launch the setup for office 2003. change it into something apart from what office 2007 already is installed in.
so what you're trying to say is that you should be entitled to an upgrade to office 2007 if office 2003 doesn't work? i would maybe think so... but no solid answer for that one.
