Question about HP PSC 2175 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hi, I hope you can help me. After I print, there is a knocking sound, I think it's my belt (is there anyway I could change the belt or do I have to take it to someone else to do that) or could it be something else, also I have black line under the glass can you tell me how I can get the black off. Hope you can help me....Thank you. Eleanor
With the blech line of dust is easy - if you have a thin screwdriver " _ " one and a torx10. Remove the bezel from the front panel and push with the thin screwdriver in the small holein the panel. While pushing (not hard) easy slide dhe front panel towards the back of the printer. Unplug the ribbon cable carefully. The panel unmasks 1 screw. There are 3 in total. The other 2 are under the scaner cover - pull it with force straight up untill you remove it.
Unscrew the 3 torx10 screws then pull the cover with the glass easy from the back - up lift ti untill the front releases.
Be carefull with all the ribbon cables.
With the other problem...
Where (in witch part of the printer) do you heare the noise?
May be true - becose of the belt but not necessary because of it. You can have a piece of paper or an obstacle in the left or right sice of the printer in the craddle's path, or the spring that pulls the best straight could be weak.
