-   Replaced all circuit boards from a working/cracked lcd tv, and TV still not working, did some research and many TVs have defects on the LCD itself !!!
So do not risk buying parts, I wasted $380 on them, just go get another TV-   fbaldus
You have sound but no picture. Green power light is on and NOT flashing. You get a screen flash or flicker on power-up or even a minute of screen before going all black. It is your inverter board. Common problem on LCDs (maybe more so on Phillips?). They are easy to replace (unplug-plug) and are available on the net.

When you click the power button for the TV, it clicks ON and OFF, not long enough for a picture to appear. It is a fast clicking like it is trying to start, but having a rough start. After 30 seconds to a minute, it powers up. This typically only happens when the TV is OFF for an extended period of time and then powered ON.

Have you fixed it or gotten rid of it yet? Because if not, I have a solution for you. I had the exact same problem and TV as you, and I fixed mine by leaning it forward. I think there may be a leveling safety feature for the screen, and it gets out of wack. So maybe try leaning it back and forward until you find the sweet spot.

I use this tv for a PC monitor, HD satellite viewing, and XBOX 360. I was having intermittent problems with the HDMI audio bleeding in to the other inputs. Sometimes if for instance I turned on the PC, I could hear the audio from the HDMI output on the satellite receiver through the TV speakers. Other times, I might just hear a crackle in the audio when in PC mode. If I switched back and forth between HDMI and PC inputs a couple of times, both issues would go away. I tell this just as background to what happened next. Since I have my PC hooked to the VGA input on the TV, I have been forced to manually switch the HDMI input from the Satellite receiver to my XBOX 360. (Sorry, I was too cheap to buy the $100 switch). Anyway, I usuall make this switch hot (TV on, Satellite receiver on, but XBOX off. This system although a pain, was working until yesterday. I was watching HD satellite, when I decided to play XBOX. I switched the HDMI cable, but when I turned the XBOX on, it wouldn't start up. I immediately assumed my XBOX had crapped out , but when I switche the HDMI cable back to the satellite, the TV would not recognize the signal. I have since tried the XBOX and satellite on another tv with HDMI, and both still work fine. I am thinking that some sort of switch in the tv has gone out, but I don't know. Should I just junk this TV for a new 1080P? My problem with doing that is that I use PIP with the PC on one side, and HDMI on the other. This tv does that, but I can't find another tv that does.
