Dish washer E9 shows on front how do i solve. Will it cost a lot?

Bosch and Neff machines generate the same error codes..

E9 is an overfill problem. It's putting to much water in and overfilling.
If you wanted to check yourself you will need to take off the inspection cover on the front and locate the pressure switch if it's at the front. If it's not then you will need to pull machine out and take off the side panels. When you have found the pressure switch it will have a thin hose going to it and it will be round and have a few wires on it. Take this hose off and blow hard through it to clear any muck out.
Refit the hose and retry machine. Hope this helps..

adjust the clothes in the machine

I HAVE A SMEG DW167.1 AND IT COMES UP WITH A E9 FAULT, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM ,THANKS

Either drain is clogged or pump is jammed or faulty.
Clear drain and screen. Check pump for jams. Make sure there is power going to pump with a voltmeter.

put a pump kit in the dishwasher..and the water coming up is a house drain problem

Circuit board/ Electronic control assembly needs to be replaced.
