Question about West Bend 55108 Espresso/coffee Maker

Try this. put the lid on the filter holder w/o the filter basket (no coffee) in it and hook it up to the machine. fill the espresso reservoir with water enough for 2 espresso cups. (by the way starbucks friend of mine advised to only use distilled water, coffee tastes much better and no calcification build up in machine) turn on espresso part of machine, wait one minute then with full glass of cold water under it, open knob to steamer wand. this forces steam through the wand after a few secs and presto - cappuccino!
