Hello, At first I'm malagasy in Madagascar country and we don't realy speak English. Our 2nd language is French. So, If possible to comunicate in French that would be more helpful. One or two weeks passed, my Friend José Piétri bought for me a canopus edius dvx pack, with title motion pro 5.1 and edius 4.5 with its update to 4.54 version. I gave my hardware configuration detail before chosing with your technician assistance. I'm quiet advanced about video edition and computer...I worked with adobe premiere pro before and I need something more professional. That why I chosen this pack. My problems are: - I use an dvcam sony pd170,and it works like without problem. - Edius found it, because it can control, playback, FF,rew,stop...of the cam when connected with DV link. - When I capturing or recording from the cam, there's nothing appeared in none of the the two screen preview of edius.Except a full green. - I tried continue capturing,The capture was good, because it's stocked in the specified capture destination folder. The videos are deeply byound than I expected as quality "THANKS FOR CANOPUS". - When I import the captured sequences, or videos, they aren't played by Edius in the timeline and there is nothing appeared. In the preview. - My next problem is: I can't install Title motion pro (DISC2). It says "Edius not found". Please, help me. I'd like to understand the reasons of these problems and I need solutions. Friendly RAKOTOBE José

Re: viewing in the software two monitors
Your software is in warranty. And your English is excellent. It is Canopus Edius's problem, il n'est pas le votre. Allez-y a http://www.canopus.com/ pour demander qu'ils vous expliquez ce qui vous avez besoin--je crois qu'ils seront nouse assister vitement.

what language do you speak?
not really sure where you are expiriencing the problem but you should download and reinstall the driver for your GeForce card.
you can do this at the Nvidia web site: http://www.nvidia.de/Download/index.aspx?lang=de
A DVI-D signal is digital (whereas DVi-I is digital AND analogue) and can never be converted into a VGA signal without using expensive hardware boxes that convert the signal. These though tend to lose quite a bit of the signal quality. If I were you I'd look for a monitor with a digital connection, because I'm afraid this isn't going to work.
SEE IF THE MONITOR HAS A SEETING OPTION THE PANEL OR OPTION IN THE SETTING AREA. THE PROBLEM IS YOU MAY HAVE TO CHECK OUT A JAPANESE BOOK OUT THAT COVERT JAPANESE TO ENGLISH IN ORDER TO CHANGE IT, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM 1 TIME WITH THE PRINTER AND I WENT TO THAT SETUP SECTION AND WENT THREW ALL THE LANUAGES ON IT AND I FOUND THE ENGLISH SETTING THERE WERE ONLY 10 SETTINGS, OR FIND A JAPANESE BOOK AND HOW THE SAY ENGLIST OR SPELL IT AND WRITE IT DOWN AND COME HOME AND CHANGE THE SETTINGS.
YOU ARE GOING TO GET A HOLD OF A MFG MANUAL ON HOW TO CHAGE THE SETTINGS, IN THE MANUAL MAY HAVE 12 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY GO FROM A - Z, E IS THE LETTER YOU WANT TO GO TO.
BUT THERE ARE 2 E , 1 FOR USA, 2ND ONE IS FOR ENGLAND
3RD ONE MAYBE EGPTY
THE 1 AND 2 WILL WORK OUR LANGUAGES ARE CLOSE AND MOST OF THE TIME YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT, AND IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN JAPANESE IN YUOR CASE
in windows, right click on your desktop, select properties, then settings and then click on the 2nd monitor, make sure the 2nd monitor is attached to the dvi, when the computer was turned on. so the 2nd monitor will appear in the settings.
this will give image from the dvi output. to get objects to the 2nd monitor drag them out of a corner of the first screen. debending on what side the monitor is at.
Let me know if you need anything elsed.
