Ethernet Drivers for Compaq Evo for XP
I needed to re-install Windows XP after a disk crash on a Compaq Evo. A number of drivers are not available after the installation, amongst them the Ethernet network driver (controller seems to be on the motherboard). Tried to download all 3 network drivers on the HP driver page. No success. Anybody any idea where I find that driver? Thanks!

Go to a website called http://h20000.www2.hp.com and all the drivers for compaq are there. It has really worked for me, the only drivers I have not found are the ones for PCI simple Communications control. Good Luck MKN

Likewise, installed Evo 510 Windows from scratch. Now don't have ethernet OR video drivers (wow 4 bit color is ugly).

I have the same problem. Solved my audio and video driver solution, but not the ethernet one. I found it a yr ago on compaq, but i think they updated or combined all the drivers together and im not sure which one i need.

Same re-installation issues. Had to change the hard drive and need drivers for ethernet, audio and video.
