Re: Black spot on lower part of screen.
Sounds like the LCD is damaged, it's commonly called a bruise. It can only happen when too much force is applied to the screen causing irreparable damage to the LCD crystals, causing them appear darker than the rest.

Sorry Sir but your LCD TV got wet... it can be splash with too much water, an animal urinate on the panel, etc.... this kind of black spot is caused when the LCD Panel Terminals got wet, this terminals are located at the lower side of the LCD Panel.
Sounds like you YBU-YBL (Y-Buffer Upper-Lower) and the Y-SUS/Main is out. The Y buffer upper controls the top half and the YBL the lower half. The YSUS control all of this. The YSUS is also connected to of course the Power supply board and the logic board.
I had the same problem with my TV. It was a horizontal problem with different shades of color, and black spots. I replaced my Upper & Lower Y-buffer boards. Your Y-sus board should be okay since it still powers on the screen. You should replace the Y-buffers Upper & Lower, and it should work. I hope this helps.
1Turn off your monitor or set the background color to black so you can easily identify spots that need to be removed.
Step2Apply the distilled water to your clean, soft cloth.
Step3Wipe your LCD screen in smooth motions from left to right, going from the top of the screen to the bottom.
Step4Let the screen air dry or simply run a dry area of the cloth over the screen again.
Looks like the gas needs sorting.Did something hit the screen? It looks like ink splotches does it?Bring it back to where you bought it if its still under guarantee otherwise it will be very expensive to get it fixed
