    What I have is an Audiologic dvd108. That is what is says on the back. I googled all day long and can't find anything online. I did find out that there were a few other names that it sold under such as starlight dvd108. I am not in front of it now but there was also another name that I found when I searched the manufactures address. When I get home I will try and get that for you. I do think that it was the progressive scan that I did. What is that? There is nothing for me to change as far as input selections that would be helpful, and I have tried. It still plays but there is no picture, just sound. Also I searched high and low for a reset button with no luck there either....that would have made it too easy. If I recall there is a function inside that allows me to reset defaults, but again I would need a picture to be able to get there. Thank you for your help, I hate that I did something this stupid and I will be thankful to have this fixed. All the best, Rich

    the unit that I have is an audiologic dvd108. It is an all in one dvd/home theater. I think that this is just the name that is put on this machine and it is made by another company. I don't know what resources you have, but I have been googling and searching on it for a while and I can't get anything to come up on it. Hope this helps.

I need the manufacturer and model number of the HTS to be of maximum assistance, but you may want to try pressing the source button and setting it for "TV", "Aux" or "Disc" mode as appropriate. If you lost dvd video to the television, then change the source to "Disc". If you accidentally activated the progressive scan feature, then picture could easily be lost - I would need the manufacturer and model number to walk you through that one.

Let me know if changing the source works.

It is possible that the video input setting was changed back to the A/V setting. Plug in your A/V cables that came with your system and choose the appropriate setting on your TV. You can keep the HDMI plugged in. If the cross-media bar pops up, you can reset the video input to HDMI under "settings>display settings." If you don't have have the cables on hand, there is a little trick you can try. With the PS3 turned off, press and HOLD the power button for FIVE seconds. It will beep at you and then shut down. Hit the power button again, and it should restart sensing any video cables you have connected. Hope this helps and best of luck!

DVD/VCR hook up to HDTV. No audio on DVD or VCR, no video on VCR

When you use component audio, it may shut off the side a/v audio settings. Try restoring all defualts (any changes you have made will be lost by doing so) according to p. 32 of the manual:
Menu --> Setup --> Reset --> Yes

It's a pain in the butt getting the system set up to use the TOSlink from your PC.

Try this:

2. Use MODE/SET to get to DVD/OPT
3. Turn DSP off.
4. Use the TEST/SETUP button to make sure your speakers all work
5. Screw with your sound card!
