The saesman sold me this as able to play mp4s but i've tried to load via the samsung software ad get the message "file type not valid". same via a sraigt upload via explorer.
am beginning to think this is an mp3 player, not a mp3 &mp4 player!
Everything I google and read says mp3

You cannot put another software in this one. the video player isn't hardware speaking suported. Samsung would have put the video player there if it was suported. This is an important thing. They wouldn't have forgotten it
