Question about Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera
The image in the small view finder on my canon S3is is reversed left to right, this is the case for viewing captured images and when viewing before taking pics.
The view in the main screen is fine.
The camera is just over a year old and the fault has just appeared today.
Sounds a bit like the sensor (a gravity-based device) is stuck or broken... so it thinks you are permanently holding the camera upside down.
If you have the cash, it could be repaired, but it's probably not worth it.
I'd be more inclinded to give it a tap with a pen on the side of the screen (not on the screen). Tap harder and harder... until it either works again or is more broken. Cause it's cheaper to buy a new one anyway, what's the harm?

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
