On my magnavox 27 In. tv I can not see all of the items that are shown on the bottom of the screen. Such as when they scroll weather and school closing, do you have any ideas that my help and if there are any adjustments. Thanks, Dennis Ahlvers

Press the Menu Button on the remote to show on-screen menu.
Press Cursor Up or Down button to scroll through the on screen menu until the word Install is hilighted.
Press Cursor Right button to display the Install menu features.
Press Cursor Up Or Down button to scroll the install features until the word Language is hilighted.
Press Cursor Right button repeteadely to select English or Spanish [Espanol]
When finished press the Status/Exit button to remove the menu from the TV screen.
[The language control only makes the TVs on-screen menu items appear in English or Spanish. It does not change the other on-screen text features such as Closed Caption [CC] TV shows.]

**** man, i have the same problem, sucks in video games where the objective is shown at the top of the screen and i can only see the bottom half of the text.
You may have placed something with magnets near the bottom of the TV screen. Magnets will distort the electron beam in their vicinity. Move whatever you have there!
"de- gaussing" is the process of de- magnetising the shadow mask in the tube, it occurs automatically at switchon.
If removing magnets/ relocating TV / switching on and off does not fix the problem, it's time for professional intervention.
I don't know the exact TV, but Magnavox usually have an item or two items in the menu system where the "Magnavox" and also the "blue screen of death" can be disabled. Look in your manual.
I'd suggest the reason it appears is temporary loss of signal from the antenna, set top box, cable system or whatever it is you receive your TV programming via. I don't have an answer as to why it occurs watching video, but turning off the logo and blue screen should help. If it still occurs, it's time for professional intervention!
