The JPEG's that won't display are probably too high a resolution or the file size of the image may be too high. If you are using sandisk Sansa for instance you can use the Sansa Media Converter to change (lower) the resolution of the images, or you can use other software to alter the images.
check if your videos are one of this file formats, MPEG4, WMV, H.264, if its not then it wouldnt work on your player...if you are using windows you can check the file format by hitting right click on the video file and then click on properties...
find a file converter to convert the files into the format the mp3 player requires, or if you want you can open them in "paint" and save as the "......" you need
Use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the video to a format the Sansa can handle. If you've lost the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0
If you get such as message on your PC, it means exactly that: you do not have the appropriate decoder or codec for the media file you are trying to display (or play for that matter).
Your MP3 player, if its just a MP3 playser such as the Sansa m230 will not be able to display pictures which are usually .jpg files (could also be .bmp or other picture formats) or video which are usually .MP4 or .AVI or .WMV
Are you trying it through Windows Media Player? If so then what you might try is opening your player through my computer and draging and dropping the files. If that still does not work I would reflash your player. You can get everything you need from the SanDisk website. It will even tell you how to do that. After you do that try using window media player again and it should work.
if you want to remove the media from your player totally just insert the player to your pc, right click on the icon and click format. a window pops up again and click format. but this process will totally erase all the files. if you are unable to view the video file in your player it is of unsupported format(.flv , .vob real and vlc player files) remember most of the players support only .wmv(windows media player files)
