Power Button Broken

I recently lost the programming on my remote control and then could not turn my television on at the tv because the power button is broken. i have fixed this problem once before but i think i got lucky because I did the same thing this time and it did not work. I took the tv apart and tried turning it on irght thjrough the switch on the main board but that did not work. Please help!!!
