Poulan 2300 Firewood chain doesn't oil

Check the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler for clogging. Check the fuel lines for condition. The carburetor may need cleaning and re-kit. Make sure the chain is being properly oiled and sharpened. Good luck!

Oil comes out the cover and doesn t oil bar and chain

remove the bar and clear out the oil passage holes in the bar and if you have oil coming out of the oil port in the saw then you should be okay...hope this helps...

She is long of tooth. Some oiler parts are NLA. Item 17 on the "Power Unit" print is the actual oil pump. Do not mistreat it; do not blow it out with air; they are no longer available.
