Kitchenaid superba The dishwasher will not complete a cycle and the lights will no longer come on to indicate power. The breaker is fine - is ther perhaps a "reset" button?

No, the dishwasher does not come on - or even attempt to cycle. Hence the lights not coming on - that's why I was wondering if there is a reset on the machine itself?

The control buttons for Full Cycle, etc. are loose and do not engage. However, the Short Cycle button, Cancel button to the right of the panel still work.

I don't see that it has a reset switch to restore power on the dishwasher, it could be possible that there past a loose connection inside or there's a some parts it could be an IC or a resistor got the problem.

You need for a service technician for him to do it.

But check first the plug and the wire for some damaged or cut wires.

    thanks,

The blue indicator light will no longer come on at the end of the cylce

Hello Loucinda Stanley - Try resetting the dishwasher by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. Select a normal cycle let it run and then the indicator light should display at the end of the cycle. If it proves to be ineffective, connect with a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issues.

Removed power line from panel board # 11 as seen in appliance parts pros and shocked the board. It came to life and completed a cycle nominally. Then it died again. Tried to shock it again and sometimes it works but most times it doesn/t. Similar posts indicate a transistor failure in the board assembly. The board is easy to replace and costs about 90$. I'm replacing mine. Turn off power. Remove #15 torx screws (6) from the upper cover and lean panel forward. Remove board power . Diagram where connectors go back. Board is held in with 6 clips. Gently push clips open on one side and tilt board to remove board and ribbon cable. Reverse installation.
