If the file is too large it may not work (esp if you are uploading).
Also, make sure that the contacts you want pictures added to are stored in the phone and not the sim card. You cannot add pictures to contacts stored to the sim because there just isn't enough space.

Go to the person's contact you wish to set a picture to. Select that contact and then select edit. Scroll down to where it says picture. Click Set ( left soft key) then it will give you a choice on taking it from your pictures, downloading a pic or some other choices. Choose the one you want and save. Your picture should come up when that person calls you or you call that person. Hope this helps!

I need to transfer phone numbers and etc from 1 phone to another phone that is the same model

There are several options of doing that, First is you can send your contacts as business cards to your other phone...off course you need to insert another sim card to the other phone which you want the contacts, pics, etc. to be transferred, and after receiving those, save it to all to your phone memory...(NOTE: GPRS settings should be active to send or transfer those if you are going to send those via business card or as MMS through your service provider..) such as the phone numbers..or you can insert your current sim which contains those phone numbers to the other phone and perform the Copy contacts from sim to phone option (if your phone have this feature).

And for the other files aside from phone numbers like pictures, games, etc, you can also send it the sin number you inserted to your other phone and again, save it to your phone settings....Another way also is by transferring those phone numbers, pics, games, etc.,is sending it via bluetooth or infrared, thus, you can save load by this way....but make sure that both of your phones has bluetooth service or even just infrared to make the transaction/transfer succesfull.

Now you can transfer those things you want to transfer from your current phone to the other one....I hope I have solved your problem,...for further clarification, don't hesitate to post it here...

Setting Picture ID

go to MEDIA>GRAPHICS AND PICTURES>Go on any picture, hit OPTIONS, SET AS>select PIC ID.

For this, you're gonna have to store contacts on handset, and not on the SIM Card.

Nokia N70 trouble with galary after saving pictures

you do one thing , you select image from your PC ..right click on it & go to its properties, uncheck read only & hidden option & then trfr this image to your h.set .most probably you will be able to trfr that pic to other phone. If you are successfull in doing so ,then you need to trfr all images again in the same manner .

sometimes if you have hidden any image in PC or have clicked read only.then after trfrng that image in your h.set you are not able send them to other phones.
