The Batteries are bad. It can't convert to battery because the batteries are bad. Plug the UPS back in then pull the plug. If if goes off the batteries are bad

Problem of your UPS is from battery, change battery / there is two , 12V 7or 7.5 AH/, and that ups will work.

Most of the failures with these are the batteries. Contact the manufacture for details about having it serviced in your area. They should have the contact information in their instruction manual that came with the unit.

clear and simple. the batteries are bad. they last about 3-5 years usually. "batteries plus" in your area will usually replace them and dispose of the old batteries. In the past I have replaced the batteries myself and taken the old ones to a battery surplus house and gotten a few dollars for the old ones (battery core).
