It is possible that the phone has hung up becausethere are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memorycard from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt filesor media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafesites. If so remove or format the card. Copy only valid files to the card anddo a scan before it is replaced. Now replace the card and battery and switch onthe phone. If the phone hangs up or is slow when it is switched ON , then it ispossible that the fault is relative tothe software and will need a reinstallation. Possible hardware issue cannot beruled out.
you have a bad battery. the best solution is to replace the battery.
to extend the battery life you can close background applications and turn of the screen, in this case that most lightly wont help a lit though.
Hello there, in my experience i have found that this problem as been caused by a software issue on your phone, i suggest taking the battery out and your sim for a day or two and then put a different sim and battery into your phone, this may not work! then charge the phone fully and see what happens, if the same occurs then it is more then likely a software issue on the phone and if you have warranty on it take it back to where you got it from and if not, take it to a local phone store, not orange or tmobile or anything like that because they wiill charge you over the odds
The battery is probably dead. Every battery has something known as recharge-cycle limit(number of times it can charge and discharge). Replacing the battery will most likely resolve this issue as the screen turning on when connected to an external power supply indicates that there is nothing wrong with the charging port.
Similar issue here ..allways had service/signal here yesterday and today no service. samsung and verizon gave limited assistance. Battery goes dead quickly ,so have one comeing. like pulling teath to get free /warranty battery from verizon!
