need to pour water into it, crawl underneath and see where it is coming out and then change that part. If no water comes out when you do this, start it up, crawl under, and see if it is leaking with it running.

Where is the fan relay on a 2007 BMW X5....

the relay is going to be a plastic device with at least one fat wire coming in and going out and only one small wire going to the thermostat. it should be located near the fan motor or on the engine most likely ware the fan plugs in.

What does it take to remove moisture from a right side 2004 honda crv headlight?

If you can remove the headlight and if there is access to the interior (by removing the bulb or drilling a hole if it's plastic), put the headlight on the car dashboard in bright hot sunshine to evaporate all the water, or bake it in an over for 4 hrs at 90 Celsius or 190 F.
Then insert bulb and seal all openings with a this film of silicone sealant.

Trace the power wire from the fan back to where it connects to the motherboard. Below where the wire is connected it should be labled on the board what fan it is.

Need to know what the four wires are for, red black yellow and blue, I am wiring it to and ancient apple, no choice. just need to know how to set it up at hi speed constant operation. I am using a rf-120...

Usually the red is +12 volts DC, the black is ground, the yellow is the tach sensor, and the blue is speed control. The fan will run at full speed off the red and black. The yellow and blue are of no use unless the motherboard is designed to use them.

I just received a cooler master v6 yesterday and installed in my case. the instructions that came with it sucks! after the install im still left with a bag of goods that i honestly dont know if it was...

On the mother board there are plugins that are used for fan only and nothing else. They are usually located next to the CPU three prong pin inserts. They are programmed to receive information that also includes the thermo read a well you have to have a 3 wire fan setup one to power the fan and the other to read the CPU and fan Temp as well as the speed of the fan. If the fan is not a three wire fan your computer will go on the bleak and will not be able to read the Thermo or the speed configurations.
It is imperative to place the fan in the proper portion of the mother board with the three wire connection in order. In some cases you have to reset the BIOS to be able to read the new fan configurations. Also with this said since you have mentioned that the fan will not spin at all and the other ones do you may have a defective fan. Not sure where you got this but if it will not spin do not install this fan. Check the wiring and also on the mother board it will say CPU fan only or Fan or Fan for CPU make sure that you have the right fan slot. If all else fails you can strip just the rubber on the wires and wiring them together not recommended to get the fan to work for you if you are insistent on using this new fan. If it works from wiring them together you may get a reading on the BOOT fan failure.
Get a fan that works for your board configuration and one that you know works before installing a new fan. This is all I can tell you without seeing the computer itself. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Where can i get this fan sunon kde1209ptvx?

Almost any 90 x 90 x 25 mm computer fan with 4 pin connection will replace that fan.

Unless it is an odball version that is.

Any computer store should have one to replace it.

IBM projector needs a fan replaced but can't find exact model

A locked rotor indication will stop the rotation of the fan completely, however if the fan is still rotating then it wont show "locked rotor signal". If the projector is still under warranty then locate their nearest service center and get it rectified..................sodeep
