My playstation2 wont turn on the red button is on. anyone have some feedback on this issure

Try to manual format your phone. Here's how;

1. Turn off your phone first.
2. Hold and press Green + Red + Camera button and Power button. Wait until phone vibrates.
3. Release Power button and wait until the selection for your location appears.

The "component" you put on your PS2 (the controller) has a button. First make sure your guitar has batteries put in right and is turned on the "on" switch. Then start up guitar hero, and then you push the button of the controller you have put in, it will start blinking. Then you push any button on your guitar and it should connect.

hi, there are two reason for that
1] s.m.p.s. not gives proper voltage.
2] your logic card not working.
check output votage of s.m.p.s. if worst then change it.otherwise change logic card with working one.

try the code 7444...Thats the default lock code.

If the grinding noise occurs while you have a disc inside then it could be the len rubbing against the Cd. This problem normally happens in Slim Line editions of playstation2's. If the disc is blue coated, the playstation2's lens finds it hard to read the disc. Resulting in the lens moving closer to the disc. This is avoidable, try standing up your playstation. Or avoiding Blue coated disc.

this solution usually works after your slim PS2 shocked you when you touched the reset button, but you can try it-- it's from the manual:

1. unplug the PS2
2. wait for 1 minute
3. plug in PS2

see if the cd is NTCS/UC,NTSC/J or PAL and see what is your ps2 designation see at the back you will see if it is NTSC/UC.
