You must hit your alarm/horn deactvator switch on you key box switch, if you don't have that feature maybe your battery is weak on the alarm deactivator. you may have to pull the main alartm box and trace the main ignition wire to the fuse box and reconnect it by passing the alarm box.

Welcome to French car electrics! Nothing is simple on these. Get help from an electrician/tech or remove the alarm fuse. Sorry, but they are a nightmare.

Alarm keeps going, car locked or unlocked

Hopely this trick is useful.

1. Open the window.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Close the door. (Keep the window open)
4. Turn the ignition key on.
5. Find the hood sensor in engine bay area. (It looks like push button)
6. Press the hood sensor and reconnect the battery. (Keep pressing the sensor)
7. Ask someone to start the engine (Keep pressing the sensor)
8. After the engine start, you can release that sensor.
9. Now your alarm vehicle was deactivated.

This trick is effective for common mitsubishi car which not using immobilizer.

2004 Hyundai Elantra won't start, emergency flashers keep blinking, can't shut off, lights dim, can't jump start, clicking from under dash from relays. What could it be?

The 'Keyless Entry & Burglar Alarm System" is activated. You must 'Disarm' the system using the Keyless Entry Remove (Key Fob) to "Reset" the system. The reason the engine won't start is due to the burglar alarm - it has a "Starter Kill" circuit which is activated when the alarm is activated. The alarm must be DEactivated to DEactivate the 'Starter Kill' circuit.
Another way to start the engine is to get in the car, put the key in the ignition and turn it to 'ON" and wait 3 to 5 minutes until the emergency flashers stop/turn off. Afterward, you should be able to start the engine. NOTE: This does NOT reset the burglar alarm. It will go off again when you enter the vehicle without using the remote/key fob.

Won't turn over not even a starter sound changed the starter battery dist cap and rotor ignition coil checked the fusible links by the battery one of which says clutch I am out of ideas

If you hear nothing and the Battery is good. Are you sure the engine isn't seized? You should be able to turn the motor over by hand at the Balancer. There are a lot of systems that may interfere with the starting of the vehicle. The Neutral Safety switch for example will keep the engine from turning over, This is located in the Transmission. The ignition switch going bad or your vehicle alarm system if it is equipped with one. If you have an alarm with anti theft device, engine cutoff, try pulling the fuse from the main power wire on the alarm.

My car will not start and engine not turning over. Alarm keeps going off.

I would imagine that you should start by reading the manual. If the alarm is going off, most likely that has disabled the engine from starting. Find what triggered the alarm, turn it off and the engine will start again. I have seen this happen when the doors are locked with a keyless remote, then entry is gained using a key and not hitting the horn button on the keyless.
