webcam commonly use to take a picture..just open the webcam application from your desktop and capture your picture or video. webcam also use for chatting such as in yahoo or msn..just try it..it will be fun
Open my computer and then open cam, see on your right hand on window bar, there is a button "Take Picture" just press it and you have taken a picture. It is so easy and simple.

Start the software which came with the webcam/laptop. There should be an option there to take a still/picture. This can then be saved and sent to your friend.
All seems fine on my laptop , sound ,volume ,ect . the problem is i have a picture of myself on my PC and the person i am talking to but they have no picture of me ,,,i dont know what is wrong . Can any one help . Laptop is a Touchmate running via wireless router .
