Re: OFFLINE problem - unable to print
if your printers saying Offline, it means that your printer is not connected/switched on or detected by the computer.
Try a hard reset or re-installation of the printer itself.
power on/off ( On the printer )while this error message appears.
Check the cable from Printer To Computer.

If you are getting a status message as the printer is offline on your pc,and afterward you can't ready to print the reports. Steps to Resolve the Printer Offline Issue: Step 1:
At first, you need to check your network through the HP Scan Doctor which encourages you to discover and fix the printing issues. Steps To Run the HP Scan Doctor
•Open the HP Scan Doctor tool by double tapping the symbol.
•Start- - >Select your printer- - > Fix Printing
•Then the list of issues displayed on the screen as result.
•If the tool shows the white checkmarks at that point there is no issue.
•If the tool shows the white wrench then the issues are found and repaired
•If the tool shows the yellow shout point then the issues are found however that can't be solved or skipped.
•If the device shows the red stamp then you have to take after the on-screen guidelines to determine the issues. Step 2:
Set Your Printer as Default Printer
•Search your gadget on your PC and select your printer and uncheck the Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline
•If you can capable print implies your printer is online.

If you are connected via USB cable, you will want to follow these steps.
1. Clear the print queue from the computer.
2. Shut down the computer.
3. Power off the printer.
4. Unplug the USB cable from both the computer and the printer.
5. Make sure there are no foreign objects in the printer.
6. Reconnect the USB cable.
7. Turn on the printer and the computer.
This issue occurs due to the change in IP address of the unit (Most of the IP addresses are Dynamic and it may change time to time. So the computer is unable to locate the previously set IP address and this leads to a message printer offline). I request you to set a static IP address for your printer and verify the result. :) Dr Tony
>unplug the usb cable from the back of the printer
> go to the printers folder inside the control panel
> right click on the printer icon and then click on delete.
> if the printer icon is deleted and if there are no more printer icons related to your printer, plug the usb cable back to the printer and wait for few minutes while it automatically installs the driver.
NB: if you are unable to delete the printer icon. then right click and click on "pause printing" and then again right click and clear the documents in queue. if it is done then delete it.
if you are unable to clean the documents in queue, then
click on Start-->Run, type "services.msc" and click ok.
Double click on print spoolers and then click on "Stop" and then click on "Start". Restart the computer. then try to delete the printer icon.
