I have a Clarion Rax450D radion in my car and don't know how to turn it off. Please advise

see if you can find the menu for the radio as it will have a language section there for selection
clarion tech experts on line can advise on how to change it or a radio shop that specialises in clarion will know how to change it.

The smoke is a good indicator that it is a brick.

try to make the right connections.the battery+ terminals are wrong connected!yellow to+ and red to ign.

since i don;t know which version you have of that unit here is a link with manuals just pick the version and it will tlel you how to set your clock.

Yes, there are 2 Red RCA jacks on the back. A $10 cable from radion shack, 2 RCA on one end and a 3mm jack on the other.
Cheap way to do it, there is also a device you can buy from Clarion that will do it for about $90 that gives you more control from the radio.

They still make cassettes ? JK
Power leads are pretty much standardized,
Check manual,website, buy the wiring adapter, or check with a installer.

Here is a source of the connector for your reference. You don’t need the speaker connector since your unit does not have any built-in amps.
