Hi,
If your adapter is bend and it is not detected by computer
it might be faulty and if it is under warranty call 1888-NETGEAR(US) or check the contact no of Netgear for Replacement.
else you have to go for a new adapter
i wud prefer you if you want to go for New adapter that support WIN7

Power supply only putting out 6 volts vs. needed 12v. Router sees that as a "loose wire". Looking for replacement power adaptor.

Hi, I want to tell you that if you are looking for the replacement for the power adapter you can call netgear and you can purchase netgear adapter from the customer support for netgear. And also you can buy any other power supply adapter which have the same power supply voltage and you can use it without having any problem.

Netgear WGX102 stops working after some usage

As the device works fine when connected in the same room. the issue does not seem to be with the powerline adapters but with the powerline itself.

If you still suspect the powerline adapter to be faulty then try connecting another powerline adapter at the same place and check if it works. This will help you for a speedy resolution

Wireless not working from netgear wg311 to a new bt homehub2

Hi Backatya,

Check what kind of security you upgraded BThomehub 2 uses. Since the hub supports more security-types then your adapter does, I suspect an incompatibility there.

You can solve it by connecting through cable and changing security to WEP or WPA (not WPA2).
