That's kinda long time! But no problem, you just have to follow my instructions on how to put your iPod touch to DFU mode and restore and this problem will be history.
Only thing though is that all data from your iPod will be deleted.

You may reset or restore your iPod for a try, this can fix many general iPod problems. Or you may take a look at this iPod FAQ, it's informative.

How do you fix a ipod touch that is disabled and i cant remember the passcode and im on a different computer then first synced with.

Go onto iTunes, try to recover your iPod, and get your files. If you don't care about the files, reset it. If you need more details, just ask and I will try my best!

Error code 1140

Yes, I have had this problem. First, I would disable the automatic sync with the iPod and ITunes. You can do this by going into preferences in iTunes. Download the latest version of iTunes by checking for an update. Then click on your iPod in iTunes and restore the iPod to its original setting. This will erase the whole iPod. Then you can sync it with iTunes again. That should fix the problem.

IPOD TOUCH DISABLED.

try restoring your iPod.

1. Make sure your iPod is on and connected to iTunes( does not matter if detected or not)
2.Now, hold the home button and sleep/wake button together until the screen blacks out
3. When the screen blacks out, immediately release the sleep/wake button but keep on holding the home button for like 10 seconds maybe or until iTunes says it has detected an iPod in recovery mode and must be restored to be used
4. Now restore it and I hope it turns out better!

Or , option number 2. you try contacting Apple and tell them the problem or go to an Apple store near you and get them to fix it.
Hope this helps!

Ipod touch disabled

Try turning off your ipod, holding the home button, and plugging it in, while still holding the home button, until a picture of the ipod cable appears pointing to the itunes symbol. this will reset you ipod, and you don't need the passcode to make it usable again.
