To access the configuration: The default user is 'Administrator' and the password is blank.
Make sure you have your DSL username and password to log into you DSL service. If you don't have it your service provider can give it to you.
If that doesn't work find the reset button on the back. Do not use the front reset. Hold the reset buttion in until the power led flashes red. This should reset the unit back to factory. You will need probably need you DSL username and password to re-configure the router.
If the internet light is red it indicates that there is an error with the username and password Check the username and password provided by your ISP If still unable to connect reset the modem and then reconfigure it with the username and password and choose PPPoE connection type. If still no success contact AT&T tech support to reset the password
It is OK to keep putting the UN and PW in. However you shouldn't have to. I suggest having a tech come to your home and have them do a signal test both at your jack and outside with your home unplugged from your service box. If there is a big difference in the numbers then you're simply loosing signal due to signal bleed inside. This is a simple fix. Have them isolate some wires in your jack and place a DSL filter outside. Then your DSL signal will go straight to your modem and not bounce all over your home. This will NOT affect your phone.
First of all check whetherdsl yellow light is on or not. if it is not on then contact bsnl local branch. otherwise remove dsl line from modem. Then
open internet explorer
edit pppoe 0_35_1
connect DSL line.
