While receiving a call press < or > on the side of the phone this will turn the earpiece volume UP or DOWN a visual bar will appear on the screen.
Hopefuly that's all you need to do.

Caller is unable to hear voice of mine

Is it just the one caller or does it happen with everyone you call?

Try call somebody else to make sure its not the caller that has the problem. Worst case there is a problem with your mic. Try using speaker phone and make sure your phone is not on mute

Hope these ideas help

Can only hear a caller on speaker

Do a master reset or reset factory settings and see if it works. It would delete your data, so take a back up before you perform that step.

If that does not work, then its a hardware failure, if you phone is under warranty get it serviced.

SE K800i volume

Their could potentially be a problem with your Phone speaker, have you made sure you have call volume turned on/up !? when in a call, press the volume adjustment buttons on the side of the phone and a small window should pop up saying Volume. if the call volume is up but there is still a problem with your phone, i would seek professional help from either Sony ericsson or your Mobile phone Carrier
