Re: I can't upload my webcam to my computer
Sure..go to www.creative.com and find model number under support, and get new drivers there. be sure to disconnect webcam during setup and only plug it in when prompted to. check your warranty here FREE

Ok it isn't unusual for a CD ROM or DVD ROM to not recognize a CD or DVD insert to it..Ok try this clean the lenses of your ROM using a CD or DVD cleaner disc if you have also try to wept your cd software with a clean dry soft cloth or cotton..If this will not work perhaps you need a new installation cd for your webcam.
Try to search online for the webcam manufacturer driver and manual. If you have usb pen drive and another computer try to copy the installation file from the cd using other computer on pen drive and then connect the pen drive and trnasfer software and install software and driver. Good luck.
Have you try loading the cd manually? If not here's how put the cd in your cd-rom or dvd whatever you have Xp or older you double click on my computer and double click on the cd rom or dvd rom. Vista click on start click on computer then find your disk drive.
What type of webcam is it?
It sounds like you might need drivers?
I may be misunderstanding your question.
Let me know the make and model of your webcam and I will try to find the drivers to see if that will fix it.
Yes, You can go to the camera's site and track down the proper drivers etc and download it that way (your camera's make and model} or Take the cd to a friends house and have them email you the entire install or have a friend upload it to a free storage internet sight.(like, http://www.yousendit.com/) where you can download it later directly to your computer. Or Have them do a file transfer to you using msn messenger or yahoo messenger. Thank you and good luck *s*
In no way, shape, or form put a cracked CD in the drive. At the high speeds that CD drives spin, the CD will shatter all inside the drive.
You can check the manufacturer's website for the drivers, there is usually a support link or tab or page that will list drivers. You can also have Windows Update attempt to search the internet and find them. Also try drivers.com and driverguide.com to see if any others have uploaded them there. Good luck.
Sounds like the CD is dirty and/or scratched up. Try cleaning the heck out of the CD, if that doesn't work, it may be the laser in the cd-rom drive, buy one of those cd-rom laser cleaning kits from any electronics/computer store, or get a new cd-rom drive.
What is the manufacture and model of the webcam? Its possible the manufacturer has teh software on their website to download. Or maybe its available from one of the many sites where you can download freeware/shareware. Send the information above and I'll make a seaqrch.
